These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern all deliveries and services provided by World of Whisky AG, Via Dimlej 6, 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland (hereinafter “World of Whisky”). By placing an order via the online shop, by e-mail, telephone or any other channel, the customer agrees to these T&C.
In Switzerland, spirits may legally be sold only to persons aged 18 or older. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they meet this legal requirement.
World of Whisky performs a technical age verification:
If it becomes apparent that a customer does not meet the legal age requirement, the purchase contract becomes void with immediate effect.
The offer is primarily intended for customers in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
International deliveries are possible but only upon individual request and subject to the legal requirements of the destination country (e.g., alcohol duties, import restrictions, customs).
Every order is binding. The customer usually receives an automatic confirmation by e-mail. The contract is concluded only after explicit acceptance by World of Whisky.
World of Whisky reserves the right to reject orders in cases of obvious pricing errors, system errors or lack of availability. Any payments already made will be refunded in full.
All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) including statutory VAT. Prices and promotions may change at any time without prior notice.
Packaging and shipping costs are shown separately during the checkout process.
Errors and technical mistakes in price display remain reserved.
The following payment methods are available:
Payment processing is carried out via the payment service provider Wallee.
Invoices must be paid within 30 days without deduction. From day 30, World of Whisky may charge default interest of 3% above the SNB base rate.
Delivery is made after receipt of payment to the address specified by the customer. World of Whisky strives to meet the indicated delivery times.
Alcoholic products may only be delivered upon age verification. Delivery without signature is not permitted.
The risk passes to the customer as soon as the goods are handed over to the carrier, even if World of Whisky bears the shipping costs.
Complaints regarding delivery, defects, incorrect deliveries or quantity deviations must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods.
In the event of a justified complaint, World of Whisky will, at its discretion:
The goods remain the property of World of Whisky until full payment has been received.
World of Whisky processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Data is only shared with service providers necessary for contract fulfilment (e.g., payment processing, hosting, shipping).
World of Whisky is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or intent. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these T&C is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. An economically equivalent provision shall replace the invalid one.
World of Whisky may amend these T&C at any time. The version published on the website applies.
Swiss law exclusively applies. The place of jurisdiction is 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland.
